APRS Due Wednesday, April 30

2008 Annual Performance Reports (APRs) are due April 30. Please follow the below links to complete the appropriate report based on your Partnership level and track.
- Sustainable Office Toolkit (SOT) track Partners will report via an online survey.
- Champion Partners will also complete an online survey.
- All other Partners will report through the P²AD online system.  Please note that our system server is experiencing difficulties and is being rebooted each day at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. If you are in the system at those times, save your work frequently to avoid losing data. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Free Carpet Water Conservation Seminar

Register now for the Carpet & Rug Institute water conservation seminar May 13 in Dalton. This free workshop will feature speakers from Dalton Utilities, EPD and industry leaders to discuss the Statewide Water Plan, water conservation and wastewater treatment.

Free Composting Workshop

Learn more about food residuals management May 6 at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. This free event will cover issues from donation to composting and the impact of composting on climate change. Nora Goldstein, executive editor of BioCycle magazine, will be speaking. Pre-registration is required. More info.

EPA Funding Small Business Innovation Research

EPA invites small business firms to submit research proposals to advance technologies in water monitoring, air pollution, biofuels and more. Funding available is $70,000 per award, and proposals are due no later than May 21. Details.

Carpet America Recovery Effort

Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE), a Champion Partner, is a joint industry-government effort to increase the amount of recycling and reuse of post-consumer carpet. Since CARE’s inception in 2002, they have helped divert over 1 billion pounds of post-consumer carpet from the landfill.
